I have been with the Lake Wales Family YMCA since May 27, 2006. Prior to that I was with the Central Florida YMCA for two years. Before making the move to Florida, I lived in Virginia where I worked in Aquatics for six years.
I hold several certifications. Some I will list here.
With the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) I am certified as a First Aid Instructor, CPR Instructor, Blood Borne Pathogens Instructor, and Oxygen Instructor.
Through the American Red Cross I am certified as a Lifeguard Instructor and a CPR-Pro Instructor.
With the YMCA, I am a certified Swim Lesson Instructor Trainer and a Lifeguard.
My philosophy is, if you have helped one person, it is as if you have helped the world.
My goal is to teach every child in Lake Wales to be comfortable and safe in and around the water.
My hobbies include reading and being with my family.
